Buteyko New Zealand Ltd was founded by Russell and Jennifer Stark, who held their
first course in Napier during February 1994. Since then Buteyko has spread
throughout the country from as far north as Kerikeri to Invercargill in the
south. Over 4000 people have been taught the technique in New Zealand, and
